My students enjoy reading. It doesn't matter rather it is read-alouds, reading with friends, listening to favourite stories on recordings; they relish the moments. They even beg for guided reading on days when they aren't scheduled.
Recently I am having my fluent readers ask for more difficult books, and wonder of wonders, my emergent readers are now early readers and ready for more challenging books! It is for these moments that teachers live for!!
I am missing my kindergarten students and 2 others who were busy with reading responses. I need to get them featured!
Very familiar sight...can't have enough books around them!
